The Union
Arab culture gave, gives and will shape European culture from the beginning. Moreover, without much of the iconography and myths of Arab cultures, perhaps there would never have been a Europe. For this reason, with this drop we want to pay tribute to roots that, in one way or another, have remained in the background.
We live in a westernized society, where the old European continent was modernized in the American way, creating a union: a flag. The blue, the yellow, the Euros … All this would come to unite people, peoples, countries … Many nations would deny a past that was far from the idea of Europe; of religions and traditions distant from the idea of the new union, just for belonging to it.
If any leader of any Arab country or with Arab roots publicly defended a change that would mean the danger of that hegemony, he was singled out as an enemy. For this reason there were many characters who tried to change the international status quo, detach themselves from a globality that stole them, but … none of them succeeded. There were different “unions” that managed to make the West afraid, but they were silenced
Today we update the old concept of union and we paint The Union that we live in 2021. European colors and stars mixed with the arabian crescent. In the end, We all live in the same world, escaping from the same fears and wanting to achieve very similar dreams. The Union is a shout out to all inmigrants, emigrants, locals, descendants and those who will emigrate; to every human who just wants to move forward. We believe in breaking down barriers, in union.
